Anam Iqbal is a twenty-something Londoner, who holds a bachelor’s degree from UCL (University College London) and a MSc in Social Anthropology from the University of Oxford. Having completed two dissertations related to human rights, she has a keen interest in activism and, in particular, women’s rights. She is a writer, poet, essayist, activist and intersectional feminist.
Alongside having studied a discipline that analyses the nature of humanity in multitudinous ways, she was raised in London, a deeply multicultural society, from which she learnt much about people by simply looking around her. This interest manifested in the form of writing, which is her greatest passion. As somebody with a keen interest in art and creativity, she also enjoys fashion, beauty and drawing.
This blog is a personal digital space Anam uses to express herself and share her journey, lifestyle, writing and thoughts. A variety of mediums are used: perception posts, articles, poems, short stories, diary entries, book reviews/excerpts, fashion posts and beauty product reviews.
